Storytime!
Earlier this month I had the privilege of being a reader for a group of youngsters. I got to read one of my favorite books, It’s Time To Eat (Chinese Edition), and talk to the kids about being an author.  The energetic kindergartners made me feel very welcome and I really enjoyed spending some time with them.  We explored the adventures together with Marcus the Monkey and his friends, and discussed different kinds of food for different animals.
Books have the power to benefit toddlers and preschoolers in a myriad of ways. As a parent, reading to your child is one of the most important things you can do to prepare him with a foundation for academic excellence. Read aloud to your kids, start early and stay with it!
