Besides the illustration works, I’ve been teaching drawing for almost two months already. Honestly it’s my first try to teach a private drawing class, but it turns out to be really good. My student enjoys the class all the time and keeps improving. I also learned to keep the task interesting while challenging. I’m expecting my second kid so for right now I have no plan to take more students, but I’m seriously considering that maybe during fall I’ll open my drawing studio for beginner art lovers. It’s so enjoyable to share tips of doing arts with young art lovers and help them do better and enjoy more.
Working on a new book! The fourth book this year. Hmmm, seems still a productive year so far 🙂 It’s such a pleasure to bring the story to life, To build up an imaginative world and give it some magic touch.

Earlier this month I had the privilege of being a reader for a group of youngsters. I got to read one of my favorite books, It’s Time To Eat (Chinese Edition), and talk to the kids about being an author. The energetic kindergartners made me feel very welcome and I really enjoyed spending some time with them. We explored the adventures together with Marcus the Monkey and his friends, and discussed different kinds of food for different animals.
Books have the power to benefit toddlers and preschoolers in a myriad of ways. As a parent, reading to your child is one of the most important things you can do to prepare him with a foundation for academic excellence. Read aloud to your kids, start early and stay with it!

You have often heard the age old question; if a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? BUT have you ever thought about this one; if a dog is home alone and no one is around to watch him, does he have more fun than we think?” Christopher Anderson is your typical kindergartener whose imagination runs wild when asking himself that very same question. Young children and parents alike will truly enjoy reading this book and discovering what Christopher thinks his beloved dog Blu is actually doing while he is attending school. The Blu Dog Book series aims to encourage your child to develop and expand their imaginations in both a unique and fun way. At the end of the story, we offer an interactive section which allows parents to help their children express themselves in their own words and illustrations, just like Christopher Anderson.
