Storytime!

Earlier this month I had the privilege of being a reader for a group of youngsters. I got to read one of my favorite books, It’s Time To Eat (Chinese Edition), and talk to the kids about being an author.  The energetic kindergartners made me feel very welcome and I really enjoyed spending some time with them.  We explored the adventures together with Marcus the Monkey and his friends, and discussed different kinds of food for different animals.

Books have the power to benefit toddlers and preschoolers in a myriad of ways. As a parent, reading to your child is one of the most important things you can do to prepare him with a foundation for academic excellence. Read aloud to your kids, start early and stay with it!

It’s Time To Eat

So excited to announce that my new picture book “It’s Time To Eat” was just released on Amazon!

“Lovingly illustrated, It’s Time to Eat is the second of Helen H. Wu delightful stories about a monkey family and the relationship between mother monkey and her child, a relationship that reflects moments in your own home.” -Uvi Poznansky

“Parents/teachers will enjoy reading this book with their children. The children can discuss all the strange meals, Marcus’s friends had for lunch. They can talk about what they like to eat, and what the lesson is that Marcus learned. The illustrations by the author are so colorful and bright. They all depict the adventures of Marcus and his friends.” -Prisrob

“with big, beautifully illustrated pictures and a fun story line, this little monkey (maybe your own little “monkey”, learns that mommy really cares enough to make delicious food for him. At first he thinks that there has to be something better out with his friends: he is offered hay from a horse, an acorn by a squirrel, chicken feed, etc. But nothing is tasty, nothing like mom’s cooking.” – Tom

It’s free to download for a limited time, a free fun and creative coloring book is also included. Grab the book and I’m sure you and your kids will love it!

Good Night, Good Night

Ding Dong! Merry Christmas! The kindle edition of my new book “Good Night Good Night” inspired by my 8 weeks little boy was just released! (Yes I had a baby about 2 months ago! That’s why I stayed almost absent recently, taking care of him is a big challenge! I’m still learning:) )

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RDMKPAI/

It’s a bedtime rhyming story, and it was inspired by the routine how my little boy went to sleep every night. This book is the second picture book that I wrote and illustrated, it has been created with love and joy. Hope you guys enjoy it too! And if you like the story, please please take a few minutes to write me a review, it’ll help me out and encourage me to write and illustrate more children’s books!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Hope you all have a merry holiday!
