some of my recent illustrations 🙂
Several more illustrations for the new book. 🙂
Besides the illustration works, I’ve been teaching drawing for almost two months already. Honestly it’s my first try to teach a private drawing class, but it turns out to be really good. My student enjoys the class all the time and keeps improving. I also learned to keep the task interesting while challenging. I’m expecting my second kid so for right now I have no plan to take more students, but I’m seriously considering that maybe during fall I’ll open my drawing studio for beginner art lovers. It’s so enjoyable to share tips of doing arts with young art lovers and help them do better and enjoy more.
Working on a new book! The fourth book this year. Hmmm, seems still a productive year so far 🙂 It’s such a pleasure to bring the story to life, To build up an imaginative world and give it some magic touch.

So excited to announce that my new picture book “It’s Time To Eat” was just released on Amazon!
“Lovingly illustrated, It’s Time to Eat is the second of Helen H. Wu delightful stories about a monkey family and the relationship between mother monkey and her child, a relationship that reflects moments in your own home.” -Uvi Poznansky
“Parents/teachers will enjoy reading this book with their children. The children can discuss all the strange meals, Marcus’s friends had for lunch. They can talk about what they like to eat, and what the lesson is that Marcus learned. The illustrations by the author are so colorful and bright. They all depict the adventures of Marcus and his friends.” -Prisrob
“with big, beautifully illustrated pictures and a fun story line, this little monkey (maybe your own little “monkey”, learns that mommy really cares enough to make delicious food for him. At first he thinks that there has to be something better out with his friends: he is offered hay from a horse, an acorn by a squirrel, chicken feed, etc. But nothing is tasty, nothing like mom’s cooking.” – Tom
It’s free to download for a limited time, a free fun and creative coloring book is also included. Grab the book and I’m sure you and your kids will love it!
