Working on a new book! The fourth book this year. Hmmm, seems still a productive year so far đ It’s such a pleasure to bring the story to life, To build up an imaginative world and give it some magic touch.

Another work from sketch to the finished piece. I doodled the rough draft when I was waiting for a takeaway last week, glad I finally made it! Grab the signed print HERE!
Two of my original drawings – “Colorful Winter” and “Simply Summer”.
I love nature and enjoy almost every moment being with it, sun and rain, day and night, mountain and river, green and flowering spring, colorful and hot summer, red and orange fall. However winter is my least favorite season – I don’t like cold dry chilly days with sharp winds blowing on my cheeks and through my hair, I’d rather stay indoor. During winter, I’d either try my best to reduce outdoor activities, or head to south to enjoy the sunshine and warm weather there, sometimes I feel like I’m kind of a migrating bird. đ
On the opposite, I love summer much more, though sometimes the mosquito is quite annoying. To me, summer means beautiful flowers, tasty fruits, time to relax, and beach time! There is nothing better to play in cool water in a hot summer day! (Maybe, to sit cozily besides a warm fireplace, reading a book or chatting with family and friends; but that’s stay indoor, so I guess that doesn’t count đ )
-Dancing In The Rain
Rain or shine⌠Day or nightâŚÂ Anytime is a good time to bring the sun, moon, stars, and clouds inside. After the last time the firework night inspiration, I was inspired by weather elements again. Not only shapes, but also the color palettes. I would love to see the combos of different elements blending and mixing together while still staying independent with each other.

Today’s work: Peek A Boo! Strokes were drawn in pen and ink on paper, colors were done digitally. Prints available Here.
I do love these bright colors. Color affects the mood, dark and gloomy colors bring down our moods at times as an overcast day full of rain and wind. On the opposite, if you are surrounded by bright colors, your heart will start to dance, with a clear blue sky, turquoise woods, a soft breeze caressing your cheek whilst your eyes drunk upon the feast of flowers and your ears immersed in music of birds chirping. This was the experience I had in a garden in south of Switzerland, a sunny summer afternoon several years ago.
